Question: Is this style normal for a teen girl?

Honestly, you can't really consider any way of dressing "normal" since there are so many options. I do think that is a pretty simple and generic way to dress, so you should fit in well.
My best advice is to keep dressing the way you like. If you like shorts, tees, and sneakers, then rock that look. Don't change for anyone else.

completely normal, you sound like a person who rather be comfy more than anything, but you make it cuter with v-necks and tanks and some necklaces. don't turn into one of the girls that wear booty shorts or mini skirts, its unattractive and just bleh. trust me, i go to an all girls school so we always have to be pretty and dressed up in our uniforms, but when we have an out of uniform day everyone is in shorts, t-shirts, gym shorts, and messy hair :)

While I cant say any style is normal, there is a sense of conformity in the styles you previously described, at least at my school. However, how you should dress reAlly depends on what youre looking for. For example, if you want more guys to like you, it might workto dress more like others. I'm not saying conforming is always the best thing to do, but it works. However,if you like how you dress,And likethe way people treat you, why change it? It's All about how you feel, but since you seem unsure of yourself, my personal recommendation, from girl to girl, would be to change some of it. Mixing it up a little will give you a confidence boost and keep things interesting, but this way you don't have to give up everything you love wearing ... (:

Any way that you like to dress is normal. :) I dress the same exact way, actually, except I wear jeans in the winter (it gets VERY cold here, can't wear shorts! D: ) I like to own a few real cute tops, some dresses, sweaters, and cardigans, but usually I just wear some athletic or khaki shorts with a t-shirt and some flip flops. Then again, it's summer and the livin's easy. In winter I'll wear a cute jacket, some uggs (ONLY IN SNOW. not for fashion. Blegh. There good snow boots here in KS), and a short sleeved t-shirt with a hoodie.

It's just school - I don't get why girls dress up for it. I always change into some pj pants after school (unless I wore them to school that day... teehee!) anyways.

I think it's a great style, and I don't think it would be too tomboyish, because you could always have your hair done and wear necklaces, and it all depends on how you wear it.

I think showing a lot of skin is unnecessary, and make girls look like sl**ts. Your style sounds comfortable and attractive in it's own unique way.

Same with jeans. I hate having to wear them, I just find them constricting and uncomfortable, and I'm glad I live where it's never too cold to wear shorts.
