Question: would i be able to bring makeup in this?

Yes, you are allowed to have make-up in your carry-on, but there are rules for any make-up that's in liquid form (liquids include all gels, creams, lotions, pastes and aerosols). Liquid make-up (and any other liquids you plan on having in your carry-on) must be in containers 3.4 oz. (100mL) or less and all must fit comfortably into a clear plastic one-quart zip-top baggie (one baggie per passenger). You will be required to remove this baggie at the security checkpoint and place it in a bin to go through the x-ray machine:Click Here
You can have one carry-on to be stowed in the overhead compartment and one personal item to be stowed under the seat in front of you. A pocketbook would qualify as a personal item (or things like a laptop, purse, small backpack, tote bag, etc.).
